It is unknown when the castle was exactly built, but we know when it was destroyed. It was during the Swedish invasion of the years 1655\u20131660.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The name of the castle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning, the castle was called Krzysztofory in honor of the owner of the property Krzysztof Ossoli\u0144ski. His name derives from the Latin word Christophoros. Even before the construction was completed, the castle began to be called Krzy\u017ctop\u00f3r which is a compounding of two Polish words. The first of them is krzy\u017c \u2013 cross in English and the second is top\u00f3r \u2013 axe in English. Until now, large cross and ax symbols are visible at the main gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"461\" src=\"http:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-1024x461.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-317\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-1024x461.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-768x346.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-1536x692.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/ajankowski.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/20210314_120447-2048x922.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Magic of numbers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The owner was interested in magic and Kabbalah.
